Our goal is to help partners industrialize innovative materials and processes efficiently and with minimal risk through comprehensive development work, securing decisive competitive advantages.

Mission - Our Purpose

NMF’s mission is to be a strategic partner in industrializing innovative materials and manufacturing processes.

We help our clients reduce development risks and achieve significant savings in both time and cost.

We stand by our clients as a reliable partner, offering the full range of R&D expertise under one roof through close collaboration with Friedrich-Alexander University – from research and development to prototype production. With support from the Free State of Bavaria, we minimize our clients’ investment risks in expensive equipment and enable secure, efficient project execution.

At NMF, our state-of-the-art equipment and over 3,000 m² of testing area provide the perfect environment to explore new ideas in materials and manufacturing processes. We leverage AI and digitalization to push the boundaries. We research. We analyze. We develop. NMF is a place where innovation isn’t just imagined, it’s actively created.

Our flat hierarchies make collaboration faster and more effective, allowing ideas from different disciplines to flow freely. Interdisciplinary exchange happens directly and without detours or delays.

The Development of NMF

From the Bavarian High-Tech Initiative in 2000 to an established research institution with 3,000 m² of testing area spread across four technological laboratories, NMF has grown into a strong partner to its clients for over 25 years.
