High-profile exhibitors
Across six exhibition halls, manufacturers, machine suppliers, foundries, and users from industries such as automotive, electrical engineering, aerospace, energy technology, sports, and medical technology presented their latest developments. In addition, the 25th Die Casting Day and the Speakers Corner featured a range of interesting presentations on current industry topics.
Thixomolding on the rise
t was particularly noticeable that this year many machine manufacturers and foundries specializing in magnesium thixomolding were present. In addition to the long-established suppliers of thixomolding casting systems for the European market—Japan Steel Works (JSW) and Yizumi—companies such as Bole, Haitian Die Casting, and LK International Die-Casting (with TPI Technology) were also represented. Among foundries as well, the topic is becoming increasingly prominent. It was clear that thixomolding has now firmly established itself in Europe.
