Neue Materialien Fürth GmbH
Neue Materialien Fürth GmbH is developing innovative methods and approaches for improved process modelling and post processing, intending a direct use of results and creating a greater benefit when applying numerical methods. To predict more effectively the occurrence of casting defects, we regularly update our methods applied for die casting and injection moulding.
We do this based on our practical experiences with magnesium injection moulding and on our long-standing partnerships with foundries. Concerning the entrapped air in high pressure die casting, we are able to optimally determine the amount of air inclusions during mould filling with our tools, as well as enabling the comparison of different geometry designs on single scalar distribution.

Neue Materialien Fürth GmbH (NMF) is a national research center of the Bavarian State. We transform cutting-edge materials and manufacturing methods into industrial solutions. Our 3000 m² testing field is equipped with large-scaled industrial facilities. The scope of our work is not limited to research – we also manufacture prototypes and small batches.
