We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest! The protection of your privacy when using our website is important to us, in the following we have compiled information for you on the processing of personal data in our company.
Basic information on handling personal data
You can visit our website without providing personal details. Each time you access our website, usage data such as date and time of the access, name of the accessed page, amount of data transferred and the requesting provider, is transmitted by the respective internet browser and saved in log files. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is used exclusively to ensure the fault-free operation of our website. Personal data is collected if you provide it to us voluntarily for the execution of a contract or a contract initiation. The data collected results from the necessity for the execution of a contract or a contract initiation or is provided by yourself voluntarily. A deletion of your data is possible at any time and can be requested by sending a message to the contact option described below, unless other legal foundations argue against. We store and use the data provided by you for customer or supplier communication, contract initiation and contract processing. After completion of the contract, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial retention periods, deleted after expiry of these periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or a legally permitted further use of data has been reserved by us. When contacting us (e.g. by e-mail) personal data is collected. The data collected when using a contact form can be seen in the respective contact form. This data is stored and used exclusively for answering your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request, provided that you wish to do so and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations.
We use external service providers for automated processing, if required, who process your data within the scope of the necessary activities. We determine the purpose of the processing, the type of data processed and the protective measures to be taken. Your data will not be passed on beyond the purpose of processing. Outside the company, we transfer your data to other recipients insofar as this is necessary to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations. Your data will not be transferred to third countries.
We use the provider YouTube to integrate videos. The videos are embedded in the extended data protection mode. Like most websites, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses them, among other things, to collect video statistics, to prevent fraud and to improve user friendliness. This also leads to a connection to the Google DoubleClick network. When you start the video this could trigger further data processing operations. We have no influence on this. We use the Microsoft Teams product to conduct conference calls, video conferences or webinars (hereinafter referred to as "online meetings"). MS Teams is a service of Microsoft Corporation based in the USA. When using MS Teams, the following personal data is processed: User details: first name, last name, telephone (optional), e-mail address, password, profile picture. In order to participate in an "online meeting" or to enter the "meeting room", you must at least provide information about your name. Meeting metadata includes: topic, description (optional), participant IP addresses, device/hardware information.
For recordings (optional): MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings, M4A file of all audio recordings, text file of the online meeting chat. In case we want to record "online meetings", we will inform you transparently before the start of the meeting and – if necessary – ask for consent. When dialing in with the telephone: Indication of the incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. Further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be stored, if necessary. Text, audio and video data: You may have the option of using the chat, questions or survey functions in an "online meeting". In this respect, the text entries made by you will be processed in order to display them in the "online meeting" and, if necessary, to log them. In order to enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your device and from any video camera of the end device will be processed accordingly during the duration of the meeting. You can turn off or mute the camera or microphone at any time via your Teams client. If it is necessary for the purposes of logging the results of an online meeting, we will log the chat content. However, this will usually not be the case. In the case of webinars, we may also record the questions asked by webinar participants for the purpose of recording and post-processing webinars. An automated decision making according to Art. 22 GDPR is not used. Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR provides the legal basis for processing your personal data. In these cases, we are interested in the effective conduct of online meetings. Furthermore, the legal basis for data processing when conducting online meetings is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as the meetings are carried out within the scope of contractual relationships.
Your rights as affected person
You have a right to free information about your stored data and, if necessary, a right to correction, blocking, restriction of processing or deletion of this data as well as the right to portability of your data in a common format. You have the right to revoke your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. or Art. 9 para. 2 lit. GDPR at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. You can send a revocation informally to the contact option mentioned below. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority, the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision or the respective state office in your federal state. If you have any further questions about the collection, processing or use of your personal data, please contact us. The same applies to information, blocking, deletion and correction requests with regard to your personal data.
