Process simulations of the continuous extrusion of metals are used at both the development and production stages. With regard to the Temconex® process, modelling and simulation focuses on process and geometry design and its impact on product and output.

For the extrusion of powders and granules (Temconex® process), we apply a fluid mechanical approach. For reworking of cast and rolled wire, the modelling uses a combined method that incorporates FEM.

Neue Materialien Fürth GmbH (NMF) is a national research center of the Bavarian State. We transform cutting-edge materials and manufacturing methods into industrial solutions. Our 3000 m² testing field is equipped with large-scaled industrial facilities. The scope of our work is not limited to research – we also manufacture prototypes and small batches.
